If you want enthuse others, you have to be enthusiastic yourself. marbet ranks at number six of Germany’s largest event agencies

"There’s no such thing as routine here,” according to marbet, the Künzelsau based agency for live communication. “Our aim is to inspire and provide special moments and services that focus on people, companies and products. We call them marbet moments …” The official ranking of Germany’s event agencies shows that the team from Künzelsau is on the right track: marbet Marion & Bettina Würth GmbH & Co. KG ranks in sixth place.

In May 2012 marbet Deutschland was voted into sixth place in the joint ranking of trade journals W&V and Horizont and the FME (Forum Marketing Eventagenturen) industrial federation. The ranking is based on the gross income of EUR 9.23m from the total income of EUR 43.1m achieved with 141 employees. "We are extremely pleased with this position and are justifiably proud of it. Also, the gross income which secured us sixth position is by far our highest income volume to date. We have managed to almost double our gross income," says Ingo Schwerdtfeger, member of the marbet management.

marbet Marion & Bettina Würth GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG in Künzelsau. Founded in 1996 as an agency for project management for Würth Group events, an additional strategic focus was directed at external market potential from the year 2000 on and resulted in a 50 percent external order volume by 2008. Today, marbet's list of references includes renowned global and regional industry, trade and service sector companies like Siemens, Bosch, Henkel, and the Schwäbisch Hall building society. In 2011, the agency was one of the first to be DIN EN ISO 9001 certified.

The company now employs 185 people and has an international focus with national sales offices in Düsseldorf and Munich (both Germany), as well as in Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Italy. An overseas branch office is currently being established in Shanghai, China, where two major commissions were already realized for Mercedes and Audi in 2011.

"Live communication is a challenging task, and the expectations of our customers are high. Our goal is to exceed them with creativity. Over the long-term, our aim is to establish ourselves on the market and become one of the Top 3 agencies in Germany," Ralph Herrmann, senior executive at marbet and responsible for Events and Incentives, states with confidence.

This year, marbet will be organizing the Adam and Eva industry sector awards. The guest list spans over 1600 decision-makers for trade fairs, events and the economy, representing the crème-de-la-crème of the industry. For marbet, the awards are an excellent opportunity to put 15 years of agency experience to the test and demonstrate its passion for live communication. The event will also be a major challenge to the Events and Incentives unit, the inhouse creative division, and the Entertainment BU which handles entertainment issues, artists and presenters. VIP guest management will be run by marbet's internal Guest and Travel business unit.

marbet also has various Travel business units: Business Travel, which handles travel management from A to Z particularly for mid-sized companies, Private Travel (represented by the Travel Center in Künzelsau), and the newly established Premium Travel division for exclusive individual travel.

Tobias Rieger, the third senior executive at marbet, summarizes: "The marbet service range promises a 'one source synergy'. Naturally, all services can also be requested and booked separately. And there's no such thing as routine at marbet!"
