Our responsibility

marbet Marion & Bettina Würth GmbH & Co KG is aware of its responsibility for the environmental, economic and social impacts of events.

We are committed to sustainable and responsible business practices. We expect our suppliers to share and adhere to our values regarding human rights, health and safety at work, environmental protection and the fight against corruption.

The three pillars of sustainability and areas of responsibility at marbet
Our requirements
We expect our suppliers to:
  • ensure fair working conditions, including fair wages, regulated working hours and comprehensive health and safety measures.
  • promote equality and diversity in the workplace and actively combat discrimination.
  • demonstrate social commitment, for example by participating in social projects to improve living conditions in local communities.
We expect our suppliers to take environmental considerations into account within their sphere of responsibility, in particular by:
  • using materials for which reuse, recyclability or proper disposal is realistically possible and traceable within the respective project. Avoiding the use of harmful substances in products and packaging.
  • Employ energy-efficient processes, produce in a resource-conserving manner and use renewable energy.
  • Implement waste management practices focused on reduction, reuse and recycling.
  • Examining and implementing measures to reduce emissions, particularly greenhouse gases, e.g. through efficient logistics, consolidated transport or lower-emission travel options.
  • Using water-saving technologies in production.

Together with our suppliers, we are working to gradually embed social, environmental and compliance requirements into our collaboration and to create a transparent framework for responsible procurement and more sustainable events.

Our expectations and requirements can be found in the “Supplier Code of Conduct”.
