60 years of ING Germany
A bank that has always reimagined banking – and is celebrating that in a big way. 3,500 employees at the Frankfurt exhibition halls. An event full of gratitude, pride, and genuine wow moments.
A party with a difference
60 years of ING Germany. A bank that has always reimagined banking deserves an anniversary that reflects exactly that. Not a standard, box-ticking program, but a moment that connects, surprises, and leaves a lasting impression.
3,500 employees gathered at the Frankfurt exhibition halls. An event to say thank you. To celebrate what has been achieved. And to make pride tangible. We could have built a stage, given speeches, and booked a celebrity act. Checked the boxes. Or, we could choose something different.
We put the people at the center and gave them the stage. Without any prior announcement.

A culture of connection, as we define it
At the start of the event: backstage. Then a quick introduction to guitar, vocals, and drums. And finally, the big moment: everyone performs together. Colleagues become musicians. Spectators become stars.
Afterwards: the aftershow party.
Boom.
What followed was not just an emotional highlight, but also an entry in the Guinness World Records for the “Largest Performance by an In-house Company Band” – live on site.
An event that didn't just claim to be participatory, but truly lived it. One that facilitated connection and created community. A moment that everything was geared towards and that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
